TAK Mathews
Principal Consultant
TAK Mathews has over 3 decades experience in the construction and vertical transportation industry. His exposure extends to all aspects of the vertical transportation industry covering projects and construction, service and modernization and planning and sales of elevators and escalators. He is widely traveled and has exposure to international vertical transportation practices and processes.
He is familiar with most equipment and latest technology. As a qualified Civil Engineer with hands – on experience in all aspects of the vertical transportation industry, Mathews is perfectly positioned to understand the compulsions of the Developer, Architect and the Project Engineers and balance it with the constraints and language of the vertical transportation manufacturers. His study of transportation engineering also helps him better understand the principles of traffic analysis. He has also undergone training in traffic analysis and simulation for elevators. Mathews has conducted workshops and seminars on the subject of vertical transportation- technological advancements in the field as well as on the subject of traffic analysis. He has also made presentations across Europe and the USA. Mathews is a representative on the P-4 panel of the ET25 committee constituted by the Bureau of Indian Standards for rewriting the Elevator & Escalators Codes. He is the Convener of the Panel for writing codes for Lifts and Escalators, CED 46:P16 of the National Building Codes.
Mathews has done his engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), MBA from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (India). He is also an alumnus of IMD, Lausanne (Switzerland).He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers (FIE).

Mathews was the founder Editor of Elevator World India and the co-founder of the Elevator & Escalator Safety Trust (EEST), a non-profit entity set up with the objective of training users on safe practices while using elevators, escalators and moving walks.
Mathews is one of the first vertical transportation consultants worldwide to be approved as a Qualified Elevator Consultant and the only Qualified Elevator Consultant in Asia. He is also a Certified Elevator Inspector and a board member of the IAEC.
William Rebello
Projects Director
W C Rebello, with over 4 decades of experience in the vertical transportation industry has exposure to all kinds of equipment from the dumb waiter to automobile elevators and escalators.
Rebello has been directly involved in the execution of many landmark projects and has hands–on and in-depth experience in execution and modernization.
Rebello has gained his reputation for his uncompromising attitude towards the total quality of the installation and speed of execution.
Antony P J
Techno-Commercial Director
Antony P J has 4 decades of experience in the vertical transportation industry. His exposure extends to all aspects of the vertical transportation industry covering projects, service and modernization and sales of elevators and escalators.
Antony has been personally involved in the sales of many landmark modernization projects across India like Reserve bank of India Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, Hyatt in Delhi and Vidhan Bhavan, Express Towers, Mittal Towers, Ushakiran and MTNL in Mumbai.
Antony was heading the sales and execution of various infrastructure projects across India including Delhi Metro, Mumbai International Airport, Kolkata Airport, Chennai Airport, Mumbai Metro, Mumbai Monorails, Bangalore Metro, MCD Civic Centre, Foot over-bridges in Delhi etc.
Sumeet Majumdar
Director Operations
Sumeet has over 2 decades of experience in the MEP and vertical transportation industry. His exposure extends to aspects of the vertical transportation industry covering design, service and modernization of elevators and escalators in various roles, responsibilities and geographies, primarily in high rise vertical transport design and mass movement of people in India & Middle East projects.
Sumeet received degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Nagpur and holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from BITS Pilani. He pursued his general management studies from IIM Lucknow and did his certification in Design & Innovation from IIT Delhi.
He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers (FIE).
Nalini Raghavan
Director
Nalini Raghavan, has over twenty years of corporate business development experience across three verticals. She also has extensive experience in project management and contract management.
Raghavan’s acquired interest in elevator traffic analysis combined with her background in Mathematics, numerical analysis and systems gives her a good understanding of the theory of the complex science of elevator traffic analysis.
She has presented papers on the subject of Elevatoring at Indian as well as global forums.
Raghavan is a Project Management Professional (PMI) and LEED Accredited Professional (GBCI).
Subhash Satam
Quality Consultant
Subhash Satam has 4 decades of experience in the vertical transportation industry. His exposure extends to all aspects of the vertical transportation industry covering installation, commissioning, service and service sales of elevators and escalators. Subhash has been personally involved in the installation and commissioning of elevators at Reserve Bank of India Mumbai, Hyatt Hotel Mumbai, Bombay Stock Exchange and service of elevators at BARC, Tata Power, BPCL, Bombay Stock Exchange Mumbai, Vidhan Bhavan Mumbai, Shreepati Tower Mumbai.
As Business Development Manager in service sales he has handled major customers across India. These include Reliance Industries, Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai Metro, Mumbai Monorail Project, Trent Ltd, Future Group, PWD, State Government of Maharashtra.
Prasad Pillai

Prasad Pillai has 4 decades in the vertical transportation industry in New Installations, Business Development and Team Management. He is an excellent planner and strategist with proven abilities in accelerating growth and generating customer loyalty levels. He has been involved in installation & commissioning of elevators and escalators for major projects of Mumbai that includes Hiranandani, Lodha Group, Kalpataru, Reliance Beverly Park, Mindspace, Seth Properties, Dosti Group, Bhakti Park and Runwal Group, Hyatt Hotels, Westin Hotels, Infosys, Koregaon Park, Models Group and Umaya group, Mani Tirumala and also Adani Group projects.
Manisha Gangal
Director – Admin & Finance
Manisha Gangal, has over 20 years’ experience as a systems and computer educationalist and in financial management. She handles the back-end monitoring that is so critical for successful completion of projects.
She is also Trustee of Elevator and Escalator Safety Trust.
